Making an appointment

You or your GP will call the outpatient department to schedule a first appointment. If you have any preferences regarding a certain specialist, please say so. The assistant who answers your call will ask you some questions. Always tell the assistant for whom you are making an appointment. You can make appointments for yourself but also for your child or another family member.

Make sure you have the following information ready about the person for whom you are making an appointment:

  • Last name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Details on health care insurance
  • Name and residence of general practitioner

Unable to attend

If you have an appointment you cannot attend, please inform the outpatient department as soon as possible. You can schedule a new appointment right away. If you do not attend a scheduled appointment and you did not cancel 24 hours in advance, you will be charged with a fee for staying away.
